Housed in a 42.4mm case of 18-carat Armor Gold®—a harder, more durable gold alloy—it features a glossy Obsidian lacquer dial, gold-plated hands, and gold appliques. At 6 o’clock, a flying minute tourbillon showcases IWC’s mechanical mastery, enhanced by silicone components with Diamond Shell® coating for reduced friction and an 84-hour power reserve. A standout feature is the rotating planet day/night display at 9 o’clock, visible from both sides thanks to the hand-wound movement’s open design. Powered by the IWC-manufactured 81925 calibre and finished with Geneva stripes and skeletonized details, the watch is completed by a black Santoni alligator strap with an Armor Gold® clasp.
