For the first time, IWC’s legendary perpetual calendar—originally devised by Kurt Klaus in the 1980s—is integrated into a movement from the 82000-calibre family. The Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 42 in stainless steel features a 42mm case, silver-plated dial, and gold-plated hands and appliqués for a classic yet contemporary aesthetic. It displays the date, month, weekday, moon phase, and leap year across three subdials. Powered by the IWC-manufactured 82650 calibre with ceramic components and a Pellaton winding system, it delivers a 60-hour power reserve. A black Santoni alligator leather strap adds the finishing touch to this refined complication.
